Integrating stripe connect

We have a existing web app for our clients and an admin app, we are currently creating apps for independent contractors . We would like an expert on stripe. More specifically stripe connect feature.
With stripe connect . We can charge a platform fee, for instance if a customer pays $10, $1 goes to platform $9 goes to the independent contractor. This can be determined at the time of the charge and automated with their well documented API
