Integrate Website to Accept Credit Card Payments using PayPal as the backend.
Budget: £750 – £1,500 GBP
A good knowledge of PHP and MySQL is needed.
This project has 2 main parts.
1. We need to change how we accept credit cards on our website from our current provider Trust Payments to PayPal.
2. We also want to offer Apple/Google pay for the mobile version of the site.
Our site is called Happybirthdaytoyou.com. It is a bespoke hand coded site that started in 1998.
Happybirthdaytoyou.com is a working live website providing online singing birthday e-cards to customers around the world. This website provides our living and it is very important that this job is done quickly and that the existing site is backed up in case anything goes wrong.
Our e-cards are processed by PHP scripts that are triggered on the confirmation page that is seen by the customer after payment. It is obviously very important that these scripts continue to work after the integration with PayPal. Details of the orders are written to different database tables using MySQL.
Because it is a digital product we do not need to take details from the customer like address and phone number. Just the card details.
The Apple/Google Pay integration has been half completed by a previous developer who let us down. This needs to be corrected and finished.
