Integrate University's payment API into WooCommerce buying process

I'm working on a project for Universidad de Chile, and we stepped into a big problem: the later integration of the payment method doesn't work after WooCommerce update.
We couldn't reach the old developers who made that, so we couldn't restore the old files or get to know the code.
Therefore, now we need to integrate the University's API into de payment stage of WooCommerce's buying process.
University's Payment API: https://ucampus.uchile.cl/api/1/dea_pagos_online/
We are asking for visitors data to generate electronic documentation related to the purchase, so it's fully legal in our country Chile. And the University's API can handle that without having to install plugins on Wordpress, because documentation goes through the API.
I'm looking for a Wordpress PHP developer who has worked with WooCommerce before, to help me integrate this API, as I don't have enough time to do this.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
1. Integration must handle updates.
This is, if the update doesnt' change the workflow, the integration should still work. Obviously, if WooCommerce releases a big or critical update, this integration should be reviewed.
2. Agile communication. I value a lot if we can chit-chat solutions, alternatives, ask questions, and so on.
