Integrate Google Cloud Bucket Image Upload to Codeignitor (PHP) Project

My developer is trying to integrate logic so when customers upload images on our website (www.flipspot.com), the image/s get saved onto our google cloud bucket. But he is not knowledgable in Google Cloud Storage, we have followed all the documentations but the images are not saving onto the bucket.
We spoke to google cloud after sharing our code and they said that we are not authenticating the bucket in our code , which is why it may not be saving. I want to hire an expert in Codeignitor and google cloud storage to work with my developer directly and resolve the issue today.
