I have recently completed the development of the official website for Pondok Pesantren Al-Mubarak Sudiang Makassar, accessible at https://pesantrenalmubarak-sudiangmakassar.com/. This project aims to streamline the registration process for prospective students and assist the pesantren administration in managing their tasks more efficiently.
The website offers a user-friendly online registration form for both "Nyantri Tanpa Mondok" (non-boarding) and "Nyantri Mondok" (boarding) programs. Prospective students can independently complete their registrations, while the pesantren's administrative staff can monitor and manage the registration data with ease.
Additionally, the site provides comprehensive information about the available educational levels, ranging from Raudhatul Athfal (RA), Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI), Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs), to Sekolah Menengah Atas Islam Terpadu (SMAIT). This information aids prospective students and their parents in understanding the programs offered before proceeding with registration.
To facilitate administration, the website includes a dedicated admin dashboard that enables real-time management of registration data, verification processes, and monitoring of applicant statuses. This feature is designed to simplify the management of prospective student information.
The website is responsive and optimized for various devices, including desktops, tablets, and smartphones, ensuring broad accessibility for users. Utilizing a Content Management System (CMS), the pesantren's team can easily update content and registration information without requiring extensive technical knowledge. One of the primary challenges in this project was ensuring that the online registration system is accessible and user-friendly for prospective students and parents with diverse technological backgrounds. To address this, I focused on creating an intuitive interface and providing step-by-step guidance throughout the registration process. Additionally, I conducted brief training sessions for the pesantren's administrative team to ensure they can effectively operate the dashboard.
With the launch of this website, it is anticipated that Pondok Pesantren Al-Mubarak Sudiang Makassar can manage the enrollment process for new students more efficiently, transparently, and systematically, while also providing convenience for prospective students and parents in accessing information and completing online registrations.
