Implement tasks in a website

I'm developing a website with a group of students using CodeIgniter and I need to implement some tasks. The website is about allowing game researchers to create surveys so that gamers can fill in to improve the game. For the moment, I need to implement a search and filter task (as circled in blue lines in the attached photos) in a page called (project_overview) that shows all surveys.
