Implement a solution to digitally sign a PDF using a valid AATL or EUTL certificate using PHP & (TCPDF or FPDF)

Job ID: 32837424

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

Hello And thank you for you for taking the time to read my job description.

This project is very straight forward and only has a couple of requirements that are as follows:

Project Requirements:
1) Implement a solution to add a digital signature & timestamp to a PDF file (created using TCPDF or FPDF) using a certificate that validates through AATL or EUTL
2) PDF document when opened in Adobe Acrobat must show that the signature is valid

Project Description:
I have an application that creates a PDF using TCPDF (tcpdf.org) and adds a self signed digital signature to the PDF file. example: https://tcpdf.org/examples/example_052/

The problem is that since it is self signed the end user gets a warning from adobe acrobat that the signer is not verified or unknown. I need a way to add a certificate that is valid.

I found one possible solution using a paid application (that has a free 14 day evaluation) called setasign (setasign.com/products/setapdf-signer/). They have a module that utilizes AWS Key Management Services.
More info Here:
https://www.setasign.com/products/setapdf-signer/demos/aws-kms/
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/68818611/php-tcpdf-sign-pdf (the 3rd and last answer)

I think a certificate licenses might already be included with setasign but if not I am okay to purchase one from a provider that will sync with AWS Key Management services and everything works per project requirments.

I am open to any solution that works (especially free ones) I only mention setasign as a reference, since it seems to do exactly what I am trying to accomplish but I am okay if you have another way to acomplish this as long as solution satisfies the project requirements.

Please feel free to ask any questions, I look forward to your responses & bids.

Thank you,
