We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to implement a Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline and migrate three specific websites to GitHub. The candidate will have access to both the current source code and hosting platforms. For the CI/CD pipeline, GitHub Actions will be the technology of choice.

Key Responsibilities:

Initial Migration:

Migrate the following websites to GitHub repositories:
1. WordPress/WooCommerce website
2. PHP-based custom website installed on top of WHMCS, including small custom apps (e.g., custom web forms tool built with PHP/SQL)
3. A 1 page HTML very simple website

Complete Request:

1. Local Development:
Utilize an IDE for local development on Mac. Experience with local development environments is a plus.

2. CI/CD Pipeline Implementation:
Set up a CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions to automate the deployment process.

3. Staging and Deployment:
Implement a git-based workflow to promote code from local to staging. Devs create Pull Requests (PRs) for code reviews.

4. Quality Assurance:
Conduct QA tests on the staging server after code is merged. Once approved, promote code to production, deploy, and perform final QA.

5. Documentation:
Provide complete documentation of the entire process from start to finish, suitable for inclusion in the company's knowledge base. This documentation should outline the process completely as it will be used for future dev on-boarding.

6. Support:
The best candidate will be available for support in the future to assist with situations at a pre-defined hourly rate.

Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Git and GitHub
- Proficiency in setting up CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Experience with IDEs for web development
- Knowledge of local development environments
- Familiarity with WordPress and PHP development
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies
- Ability to produce comprehensive documentation
