How to integrate page structure of a demo (home)page in Magento 1 template (Porto theme) -- 2

I am looking for a freelancer who is able to help me with a Magento 1 task. I got a template: ‘’Porto theme’’ and I can’t find out how to build / structure pages properly. The manual is not sufficient for me.
How can I integrate the page structure of a demo (home)page for example? The automatic function is not working for some reason. I have contacted the developers: ‘’P-themes’’ and they suggested to go into the folder: ‘’app/code/local/Smartwave/Porto/etc/import’’ on the server, but from there I don’t know how to integrate these (short)codes on the page properly. Hope you can help me integrate it and explain how to build a page this way. There are some other pages that I want to structure properly, so your help is appreciated to create columns and other theme functions.
My maximum budget for this task is €30.
