I’m a small business owner based in Australia looking for an experienced WordPress + HostPapa freelancer to fully set up my website and teach me how to manage it confidently going forward.
This role is not just build-and-go — I want someone who enjoys explaining things clearly and empowering clients.
What I Need Help With
Full WordPress website setup on HostPapa
Theme setup/customisation (happy to use premium themes if recommended)
Page setup (Home, About, Services, Contact, etc.)
Basic SEO setup (plugins, page optimisation, Google basics)
Mobile optimisation & speed basics
Security, backups, and essential plugins
Connecting domain, email, and hosting properly
Ensuring everything is clean, professional, and easy to use
Teaching & Support (Very Important)
Walk me through how to update and manage my site
Explain things in plain English (step-by-step)
Provide:
Short screen recordings or
Live Zoom/Google Meet sessions
Answer my questions patiently (I’m learning!)
About Me
Non-technical but motivated
I want to understand my website, not be dependent forever
Long-term relationship preferred for future updates/support
