Horse Registry Database

Job ID: 37709016

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

Let me start by saying that I was just ripped off by a programmer who got this done to about 60% and then just disappeared and left me NO access to the database. So needless to say we will start by setting up shared database access.

Here is the project.

ISHA Horse Registery

The goal: A system that keeps track of a horse’s pedigree for members of the International Speed Horse Association (ISHA)

I can provide a sample system for you to view.

Attached is a project overview, as well as some outlines provided by the previous programmer who did not finish the final project.

Your system would keep track of all the horses and who owns them. It would list the horses pedigree and details.

If a person sells a horse to another member, we would need the ability to change the owner of the horse.

That horse would no longer be listed under the old owners account, it would now be listed under the new members account.

Members would have to pay an annual fee to have access to this site.

We would like this to integate with our WildApricot website.

I know this can be done because the previous programmer had started it.

www.ISHA.horse is our wild apricot website.

Any member who has paid access could search for ANY horse in the system using either the horses name or the horses registration number.

Every member of ISHA will have a profile in this new system but ONLY member who pay for access will be able to login. We will need the ability to turn on and off access for these members.

This would be an ongoing project. We would start by getting a few things functional and move to future functionality.

The first thing we would need is:

The ability to create profiles for every member of ISHA. The ability to turn access on and off temporarily or permanently. Be able to create a profile for every Horse and put it under the Member/owner's profile. We would need to be able to create the pedigree for each horse. we would need to be able to enter DNA information on each horse.

There would need to be the ability for anyone who is logged in to Search for horses by name or registration number.

Ignore all the other functionality for now.

We would continue to build on this it.

I think this is a good start.

Here is a video of where the previous programmer left off.
