Hiring a developer to build a directory / city guide for Australia
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
So we are hiring a developer to develop our city guide / directory for every Australian city. We will list the features below but we want to creat an online website for Australia but different to most directories and how they are built. We hav seen many scripts on code canyon and on Google snd they are not ideal so we figured it’s better to build our own.
We will supply all the front end pages already html and css so you just need to code the backend and make it all work.
We have a database of every Australian city / suburb so we need a way to import these in, then use it on our directory.
We also want to be able to create location pages so that it will be good for seo purposes so once they are all loaded in, we need it to Create a location page for each suburb and city / town ib Australia so it will show the listings in each location but also the pages so we can have a title and also a description for each location plus also show the listings + show the featured categories for each location. If there are no listings for the suburb / location that is fine.
But it is important like Wordpress we can have custom permalink structure for seo purposes and also locations to configure like state /city / suburb as know like in Sydney there is like 5000 suburbs I. Sydney alone and Sydney is a large city just like New South Wales is a large state so we need to use geolocation to target a users location and then also have a home location option so on their profile / account they can set the suburb or town as their home location so when they open the website up again it defaults to the location they re or have chosen. So that the listings shown are relevant to them.
