Hiring Front-end developer

Position: Front-end Developer
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 months
We’re looking for a VTEX Front-end developer. Your job will consist of developing e-commerce sites for our customers based on VTEX, with the following roles & responsibilities:
Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop e-commerce UI based on provided designs or mockups
Modify existing UI to meet the client’s requirements
Add new UI components that can be customized by the client through the VTEX Site Editor
Code is driven for performance, quality, and SEO
Write accessible HTML code that meets WCAG 2.0 Level AA criteria
Ensure that your code works in every browser and device required by the customer
Use a continuous improvement approach, refactoring code when needed and reducing technical debt
Keep the project’s documentation up-to-date
Use SAFe (Agile), GitFlow, and Pivotree’s CI/CD workflow in all the development process
Participate in SCRUM ceremonies and have a proactive attitude
Support the QA team during the testing process
Keep your HTML, CSS, and JS knowledge up-to-date.
Key Skills and Competencies:
Experience with Javascript, React, and React Hooks
Experience with VTEX Store Framework
Experience with VTEX IO and/or VTEX Legacy
Experience with VTEX APIs
Asynchronous Programming
At least 2 years experience in building user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and consuming JSON web services via AJAX.
Experience with precompiled CSS using LESS or SASS, and front-end frameworks like Bootstrap, Tachyons
Experience working with Agile Methodologies
Degree in Computer Science, or Information Technology, Graphic Design or equivalent
Good verbal and written communication in English.
