Hiring Developer to build an online directory / location guide for ALL of Australia
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
Hi,
We are hiring an experienced developer to help us build an online business directory / portal. We have bought a php script for the directory and we want to transform it.
We also have bought a new html / css design that we want to integrate and make it the basis for our platform.
The script we bought to use as our base is Directory plus which can be viewed here: https://x-php.pro/demo/directoryplus/
We are in the process of uploading it as well as the new html/css template we bought that we want to use.
Here are the main elements to our new site:
Find A Business - We want this to be a business directory.
Find A Restaurant - We want this to be a restaurant and takeaway directory
Find Great Coffee - We want this to be a directory that lists only Cafes, Coffee Roasteries people can use to find new coffee shops
Find Things To Do - We want this to be a directory of Activities and places to DO THINGS like theme parks, parks, any activity you can think of.
Events - We want this to be a directory of events where people can search by event category and location to see what events are happening in their location or near to them.
Marketplace - We want the ability for users to buy and sell things for sale. We will want items listed here by a business user as well as a regular user can add items for sale.
Jobs - We want to offer a job listing directory where both business users can list a job they have at their business which is to also appear on their business listing under the TAB jobs as well as appear here on the Jobs Section. users can also add a job without having a listing but they will still need to pay before the job listing is active.
The important thing here is that we want this platform to be straight forward and responsive on all devices which our new site template is.
it is important to have a correct permalink structure similar to how WordPress does it like https://www.oururl.com/state/city/location/category/listingname.html
It is important that this website be set to integrate with stripe as we can do with the base script.
So it is important that whomever we decide to go with understands Directory Plus php script and what is possible.
