Help me fix a minor Opencart/Journal issue

A couple of years ago, I decided that my multi-store opencart 2 installation did not need the currency selector on the front end.
I did something- I don't remember what- and the currencies dissapeared.
Nowadays, I have a new store which I added to the same opencart multi-store, and this time I need to show currency options, but I can't figure out how to get the currency selector to display again.. I don't remember what code I removed, or where from..
I need somebody who understands Opencart (version 2.2.0.0)and the Journal theme, to come and undo my mishap. I expect with some simple code added to a template and or controller file the currency will work, I just can't figure out how to do it myself.
