Help fix WPAll Import saving data in postmeta on update instead of custom table

I have changed WPAll Import to save data in custom table. But this works well on when creating new posts. On updating, data is added back into the postmeta table which is wrong. Should just save data in custom table for BOTH new posts and ON update. I don't want the custom data going into postmeta table again.
