Google Play Compliance Testing -- 2

Job ID: 40267207

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

Project Description: I am looking for an experienced Testing Manager to coordinate and execute the mandatory closed testing phase for my Android app, WardScope Mobile. The app is a premium real-time spectrum analyzer, already published and active in the Play Console.
Manager Responsibilities:
• Recruitment & Setup: Provide or recruit 20+ unique, high-quality testers using real physical Android devices (no emulators/bots).
• Group Management: Provide a Google Group email address to be added to the Google Play Console for streamlined access.
• Engagement Oversight: Ensure all 20+ testers open and interact with the app daily for 14 consecutive days to satisfy Google’s engagement algorithms.
• Compliance Monitoring: Monitor the "Installed audience" metric to ensure it never drops below 20 during the 14-day window.
• Final Reporting: Provide a comprehensive feedback report at the end of the 14 days, including bug logs and device-specific performance data required for the "Apply for Production" questionnaire.
Current Status:
• App Status: Published & Active (Version 1.0.0-premium).
• Availability: 99 Countries enabled (including Bangladesh).
• Developer Status: Identity Verified.
Deliverables:
1. Successful 14-day continuous testing period with 20+ active installs.
2. Verified "Testers joined" count in the Google Play Console.
3. Final feedback/bug report for production application.

Proof: Show a screenshot of a recently completed 14-day test they managed for another developer.
• Microphone Testing: Since WardScope is a spectrum analyzer, confirm their testing team will specifically test the microphone input functionality on various devices.
• Google Group Advantage: A manager who provides their own Google Group is highly recommended
• Microphone & Hardware Interface: Have testers verify frequency response accuracy across various Android device microphones (low-end vs. flagship).
• Sample Rate Stability: Request testing for long-term data collection sessions to check for memory leaks or app crashes during extended monitoring.
• Battery & CPU Heat: Because high-end FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) processing is CPU-intensive, testers must report if the app causes excessive heating or battery drain on older devices.
• High-Resolution Display: Verify that the spectrum graph renders correctly on different screen aspect ratios and resolutions (especially tablets and foldables).
• Background Data Collection: Test if the "Data Collector" functionality continues to run correctly when the screen is off or when switching between other apps.

Technical Bug Report Template It is Highly unlikely there will be Issue.
If there is use this as a guideline
1. Metadata & Identification
• Bug ID/Name: [e.g., BUG-001 - Frequency Drift on Samsung S24]
• Reporter Name: [Tester Name]
• Date: [YYYY-MM-DD]
• App Version: [e.g., 1.0.0-premium]
2. Environment Details (Crucial for Audio Tools)
• Device Model: [e.g., Google Pixel 8 Pro]
• OS Version: [e.g., Android 14]

• Screen Resolution: [e.g., 1440 x 3120]
• Battery Level: [Was "Battery Saver" active?]
3. Issue Summary
• Title: Clear, specific headline (e.g., "FFT rendering lag when switching to 192kHz sample rate")
• Description: Brief overview of the technical anomaly
• Severity: [Critical: Crash | Major: Functional Error | Minor: UI glitch]
4. Steps to Reproduce
1. Open WardScope Mobile
2. Navigate to [Settings > Sample Rate]
3. Change setting to [Specific Value]
4. Observe the [Spectrum Graph/Data Collector]
5. Technical Results
• Expected Result: What the signal should look like (e.g., "Stable 1kHz peak at -10dBFS")
• Actual Result: What happened instead (e.g., "Peak jittering between 990Hz and 1010Hz; audio buffer underrun")
• Error Messages: [Paste any on-screen codes or toast messages]
6. Visual & Log Proof
• Screenshot/Video: [Attach annotated image of the distorted spectrum]
• Console/System Logs: [Attach .txt log file or diagnostic report]
