Automated Invoice Generation and Email Delivery Using Google Apps Script (Template Mapping Provided)
We are looking for a skilled freelancer to develop an automated system using Google Apps Script (GAS) that generates and sends invoices based on a Japanese-language invoice template and an invoice list in Google Sheets.
The mapping between list items and their corresponding positions in the invoice template is specified below.
■Project Details
You will develop a GAS script that performs the following tasks using Google Sheets:
【1】Invoice List Items and Their Placement in the Template
Invoice List Field Placement in the Invoice Template
Company Name Displayed at the top as the recipient
Invoice Number Displayed at the top right
Invoice Date Displayed in the date field
Billing Period Shown above or below the itemized section
Contact Person Name Shown as “Attn: [Name]”
Item Type / Item Name / Item Details Shown in the itemized section (1 row per item)
HKD / CNY / CNY: Personal Account / JPY Displayed under the appropriate currency field
Payment Status Displayed in a note or remark section
Status Not displayed on the PDF, but used as a processing flag (e.g., for tracking sent status)
Contact Email Used as the recipient address when sending the PDF
【2】Automated Processing Features
Automatically populate the invoice template with all data fields and generate a PDF invoice on the specified date
On the “Invoice Date,” automatically send the generated PDF from the specified Gmail account to the contact email address listed in the sheet
Separately, implement a manual function to generate all invoices in PDF format at once
■Required Skills
Experience developing with Google Apps Script (GAS)
Familiarity with integrating Google Sheets, Gmail, and Drive
Ability to handle Japanese-language content in PDF generation
