Google Analytics & Marketing Expert for Recruitment Company -- 2

I need a PHP, SQL and API to teach me how to do something LIVE! Basically I have a php file that executes, and I need to add some conditions to say if record exists in table do this and if it doesn't do that... pretty simple but too hard for me. I have all the access and systems, and essentially want to screenshare with someone who can kindly show me the way! Possibly about 1 hour work only!
