Geo-based SN & events project: Transforming Microsoft VB technology into responsive web and app -- 3
Budget: €10,000 – €20,000 EUR
Media4u publishes innovative IT and multimedia web services. We are currently working at a sophisticated, new, geo-based, challenging project in the area of social network / events management. For this purpose development support is needed soon for a long-termed cooperation.
The main front-end (client and server) is already 100% implemented as an online application with Microsoft VB6 technology. The application's code will be the main specification for a porting into such web technology that allows most efficient 'conversion'.
But the related mobile app once was developed with Application Craft (release state about 80%) and should be redeveloped most efficiently with a suiting mobile technology (probably Android or even better independent natives like Xamarin, React Native, Flutter, Ionic, NativeScript, o.e.).
In the beginning the expense of implementation of client + server porting and of the mobile app development should be estimated (also to confirm our advertised amount of 15.000 €, calculated with 10$ / hour) by a well reproducible listing. For this please don't expect any refund! This is your responsibility.
The best destination technologies can be discussed for this project.
Therefore the project is devided into 4 main phases which should be finished within 6..8 months:
1) Intelligent, teachable parsing algorithm to extract specific event data from web pages being recognised by their position, content and design.
2) Quiz Inquirer: To one question user can give one or several answers (3 types). Users can play against each other. Game leader option. Results are saved. Same question is avoided except at ‘remember mode’. Time is counted. Statistics are calculated.
3) Mobile app: Geo-based features (real-time: personality match, current event infos, driver dates) + messenger, events insertion/list. Tested by parallel usage of the VB6-client.
4) Main web front end and back end features of VB6-client and -server: Social network (friend/partner match, event groups, simple messenger, meeting organiser, bulletin board), event manager (3 types of events: public (crawled, commercial), private), intelligent event scheduler, event link exchange). Server: event extractor, db maintenance, pay system.
For this we are looking for a professional development partner with the following key conditions:
* SCRUM development process and phase-based payment
* reliable, careful and transparent communication culture
* professional team management
* suiting experiences about our project's technologies and challenging tasks
* independent working manner; ability to deeply UNDERSTAND the project idea
These are the qualification criteria in detail:
* Coding: Web front end (most advanced and efficient technology) plus separate hybrid native or hybrid web app.
* Very helpful: MS Visual Studio (VB6) know how, intelligent web parsing technologies, view for good usability and design.
* PM: Knowledge about SCRUM, correct estimations and time track management.
* Soft skills: good understanding of project's idea (purpose-oriented thinking); fast comprehension; organised, logical & independent thinking, direct/open/sincere, RELIABLE !!
* Communication: good and clear English. Understanding of German (project) documents are welcome.
