Game Payy looking for Back-End Developer
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We are an ambitious startup in the gaming industry, looking to disrupt the social gaming landscape. We're currently on the brink of launching our open beta and need an experienced back-end developer to join our team. We have a front-end developer and a web designer on board, and we are offering co-founder roles with potential pay as we gain traction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement user authentication methods: Email and Password, along with Social Media Login (specifically Google).
- Create and manage user profiling: Including but not limited to custom fields.
- Oversee post management: Enabling users to create (text, image), like, comment, share, and delete their own posts.
- Ensure core functionality: Allowing users to search for other users by username and follow/unfollow them.
- Integrate third-party APIs to enhance functionality of the gaming platform.
Essential Skills:
- Proficient in NodeJS for Backend/APIs.
- Experience with Supabase as a Database.
- Comfortable working with a NextJS website.
Ideal Candidate:
- Passion for gaming and understanding of the social gaming industry.
- Previous experience in a startup environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Expected timeline for task completion is 1-2 months.
