Full-Stack PHP Developer for Business Directory
Budget: $750 – $1,500 CAD
I am seeking an experienced Full stack developer proficient in PHP, JQuery, HTML, and CSS to construct a business directory that serves to connect customers with business owners. The directory interface should be user-friendly and intuitive.
Key components include:
- Design clean layout of the site including heading, body, and footer with nice fonts.
- Business Sign-Up & Listing: Users should be able to easily list their businesses with appropriate information including their company, location, and services provided.
- Search and filtering options
- Ability for the admin users to edit, or delete users and lists.
Must follow these instructions for the list
1) Database structure will be provided to you, you must use the current database
2) User should create account or login if already account exists based on email. They should use Google/Azure/Facebook or other identity providers to auto login.
3) List will always start with selection of location, auto populated by default.
4) Next step will be selection of category and subcategory
5) Final setup should be business information with logo upload.
- Authorization and verification process: The site must have built-in measures for verifying the authenticity of the businesses listed to guarantee credibility and reliability to its users. Email or phone verification of the list is required.
- Advanced Search & Categorization: Users should be able to filter and search the directory based on various parameters such as business categories, location, and user reviews.
Your proven experience in coding and web development, specifically in creating similar platforms or business directories, will be highly advantageous. Apart from technical skills, I appreciate good communication skills and dedication to meeting project deadlines. A keen eye for UI/UX design elements would be beneficial.
Your code must be original and your own. Bootstrap should be the only rapid development platform used for this project, no other template platforms. We will review the coding and functionality on each stage to verify the functionality and accuracy before moving to next section.
Sections of this project:
1)Design presents the complete clean design including the registration and listing process.
2)User registration and list business including user verification
3) Display lists based on user location - infinite scroll option for pagination
4) Filter list based on location, category, rating, etc
5) Search list based on name, phone number, or location - Radius location search
6) List rating and reviews. Option registered users to rate and review list.

- Proficient in PHP/CSS/JQUERY
- Frontend development skills with clean original layout (Bootstrap can be used)
- Experience in building and designing user-friendly databases – Database struck will be provided.
- Familiarity with modern design trends, focusing on minimalistic and modern styles
- Experience with content management systems and data scraping would be highly beneficial
- Strong understanding of user behavior and experience
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
