We’re a growing digital business with multiple websites and online projects. We’re looking for a skilled developer who can take ownership of both frontend and backend development for WordPress and Shopify projects — and also handle graphics to support our online presence.
Top Priority:
Someone confident in building themes and plugins from scratch for both WordPress and Shopify.
Secondary:
Polishing existing sites, improving UX/UI, and creating marketing graphics and assets.
You will:
• Develop, customise, and maintain custom WordPress and Shopify themes and plugins.
• Integrate APIs and create custom functionality as needed.
• Maintain and improve websites’ UX/UI, performance and security.
• Design marketing assets (social media creatives, banners, landing page graphics, email templates).
• Provide weekly updates and meet agreed deadlines.
Requirements:
• Proven experience developing custom WordPress and Shopify themes.
• Proven experience developing custom WordPress and Shopify plugins/apps.
• Solid PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and database skills.
• Good eye for frontend design, UX/UI and graphic design.
• Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working without micromanagement.
• Available to work during PST hours (full-time for junior, or part-time for experienced developer).
Nice to Have:
• Basic SEO knowledge.
• Familiarity with SaaS integrations / API work.
