Frontend Tweaks – Vue.js & PHP Developer Needed for Simple UI Updates - ecater.io

Job ID: 39511295

Budget: $100 – $150 AUD

We are looking for an experienced Vue.js and PHP developer to assist with some targeted frontend adjustments on our web platform. These are all relatively simple UI fixes but must be completed with attention to design consistency and responsive layout. If you’re confident with Vue.js and PHP, these tasks should be quick and straightforward.

Please review the list of requirements below. Once reviewed, place your bid and reach out to us via Freelancer.com Live Chat to confirm your suitability for this job.

List of Tasks:

Header Icon Spacing:

Increase the space between the cart icon, login button, and search icon.

Hero Section:

Slightly increase the height of the hero image for better visual engagement.

Borders & Input Styling:

Make the borders of the address bar and "Browse Caterers" button bold (solid 4px or more).

The "Enter your postcode" input text should appear darker.

Browse Caterers Button Styling:

Default: Yellow background with black font

On hover: White background (same behavior as the login button)

Homepage Slideshow Adjustment:

The "Feeding Offices Everyday" section should be converted into a slideshow, keeping the current title placement but making the section shorter/less tall.

Button Hover Styling (Global):

All buttons across the site should default to black background with white font.

On hover, they should change to yellow background with black font.

Logo Flicker on Page Load:

On page transitions, the old logo flashes briefly before the next page loads. This needs to be replaced with the new logo to eliminate the flicker.

Supplier Page Menu Styling:

Refer to the supplier page here for context:

Use postcode: 2015 to access.

The menu category boxes need to have oval corners matching the page header.

When the header slides down, it should not overlap the menu section. There must be a 1mm space/slim line between the two.

Mobile View – Header Simplification:

On mobile, replace the full Login button with just a person icon to optimize spacing between the logo, search, login, and cart.

Global Font Change:

Change the entire site’s font to Helvetica Neue:

Titles: Bold or Black

Subtitles/Paragraphs: Normal weight

Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience with Vue.js and PHP

Strong sense of UI/UX consistency

Can deliver quickly with clean, maintainable code

Communicates clearly and promptly
