We are looking for an experienced web developer to help us create a webapp for a German freelancer job aggregator. The goal of this project is to fetch and display job posts from various online portals and marketplaces, such as kleinanzeigen.de, machdudas.de, freelancer.de, and xing.de (more will be added, after good work!), while allowing users to filter job posts by category (developer, designer, texter) and getting email notification for new job posts based on their setting.
Key Project Features:
Data Scraping with Filters:
Develop a script or command to scrape job posts from target websites with the ability to filter by category (developer, designer, texter).
Implement a cron job in Laravel to automatically update job posts daily.
Send E-Mail to (premium) user if a new job posts have been added.
Database Management:
Set up a MySQL database to store job post data. Update user information, and subscription details.
Unique URL Generation:
Generate unique URLs (e.g., domain.de/uniqueHash) for each job post to redirect users to the original job listing.
User Authentication and Roles:
We use Laravel Breeze for user authentication.
Implement user roles (Free Members and Premium Members).
Premium Plan Integration:
Allow users to subscribe to premium plans or purchase a certain number of links.
Restrict access to premium features (email notification interval, block keywords, block portals/marketplaces) based on user roles.
Web Routes and Frontend:
Create Laravel routes for unique job post URLs.
Develop a Vue.js frontend using Inertia.js to display job posts in welcome.vue and manage user interactions.
Email Notifications:
Implement email notifications to send job post updates to users based on their selected intervals.
Keyword Blocking and Portal Management:
Allow users to add keywords to block or filter job posts.
Provide a feature to enable users to remove certain portals or marketplaces from their search results.
Tech Stack:
Laravel for backend development.
Vue.js with Inertia.js for frontend development.
MySQL as the database.
Linux-based server for hosting.
Mailtrap for email testing and notifications.
Requirements:
Strong experience in Laravel, Vue.js, and Inertia.js.
Proficiency in web scraping techniques with the ability to filter by category.
Familiarity with database design and management.
Experience in implementing user authentication, role-based access, and subscription systems.
Previous work on email notification systems and keyword blocking is a plus.
Timeline and Deliverables:
The project is expected to be completed within 2 days.
