Fixing the abandoned baskets module - adding Euro currency

I have an abandoned cart module that is functional and generally performs well. However, it currently has a significant limitation: it only supports the store's primary currency, which in this case is the Polish Zloty (PLN).
As I sell throughout the European Union, it is essential to add support for the Euro (EUR). At present, there is a problem with how prices are displayed in the abandoned cart emails. Since 1 Euro is approximately equal to 4 Polish Zloty, when a customer who shops in Euros abandons their cart, the reminder email incorrectly displays the prices in PLN but with a Euro symbol next to them. This causes confusion because the prices appear four times higher than they should be, which can be misleading and off-putting for customers.
I would like to enhance this module to support dual-currency functionality. Specifically, if a customer adds products to their cart in Euros, they should receive their cart summary and reminders in Euros. Similarly, if the cart is in PLN, the reminders should also be in PLN.
