Fixing bug and optimization of a PHP system
Budget: $10 – $200 USD
We are looking for a developer capable of solving some bugs on an online platform. It will be necessary to make changes to the structure of the pages, to their interface and to the database to store the data entered by users and to make the system more responsive.
We will not respond to automatic applications and/or applications that have not read the description.
We need a person who can work on the system as a whole and not only able to fix bugs in individual files. The selected candidate will also have to take care of evaluating which files and/or portions of code can be removed from the system to make it more usable and faster.
The attached PHP file is an example of part of the code you will be dealing with and the screenshot_01 file shows the web page created.
- Currently the page loads the first two fields "Inserisci data" and "Regione" (as it appears in screenshot_02) and only after a few moments the rest of the elements.
We need to understand why and develop a solution.
- The system should not allow you to complete the creation of the usability document if even one of the fields is not defined; moreover, it is not possible to create a document with a date prior to the current day. Currently violating these constraints, the system does not complete the creation and sends the user to the page "https://.../lista_agibilita.php" showing for a short time an error message relating to the violated constraint.
In case the user makes a mistake, it is necessary to avoid the redirect to the page "https://.../lista_agibilita.php" and show the user the field not filled in (or filled in with a value not valid) so that he can correct it and proceed with the creation of the document. If all the values were entered correctly, however, it is necessary to keep the current redirect.
This is just an example of a task. Our goal is to select a candidate who, in addition to solving these problems, also helps us in other, even more general, tasks in a medium-term collaboration relationship.
