Fix/update a script to work on latest PHP and MYSQL

We are looking for an expert who could fix the bugs in an old PHP ebook library to work with the latest PHP and MYSQL versions. We like the library structure because we could update the database through an excel sheet.
This is phase one of the project.

The files are attached and the script supports different languages, however it has Arabic, English and French.
