Fix issues with forms on Elementor / Wordpress website

I have a small website for my business that was built using Elementor / Wordpress. There are some back-end issues with forms that need to be fixed:
- email notifications when someone submits a form don't work –  submissions only appear in the Elementor->Sumibssions tab
- lots of bots are filling out the forms and most likely sending out emails from my account

Other details:
- please note that the website is in Polish, however, you can switch the Dashboard language to English
