We have installed the GeneCommece Braintree extension on our Magento store and having issues with Apple Pay and Google Pay.
I have disabled the Mageplaza One Step Checkout extension that we have and Apple Pay worked perfectly. So it's more like an issue with the Mageplaza extension than the Braintree extension (or Apple Pay)
