Fix Laravel Backend

I have a Laravel Backend that my previous developer has locked me out of. I need the Laravel Backend Updating (https://themeforest.net/item/vuexy-vuejs-html-laravel-admin-dashboard-template/23328599) - I have an older version on my server.
So what I need is:
1. The Password Login Fixing - so I can login and also update and reset the password for Admin
2. The newer version loaded to update the current backend - without any data loss.
I expect this to be around a half a days work at the most 3 to 4 hours.
I also want the Skin to be green - so updating the CSS.
