Fix Issues in Blogger Website

Job ID: 32854636

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I have a Google Blogger website that has one problem and needs two code changes. I hired someone to set up code so a person can "FOLLOW" the blog and be notified by email when a new blog post is added. We are using MailChip, but unfortunately, it is not. working properly.

All ematil notifications after a blog is added go to the person's SPAM folder which means they will never be notified. I have two small changes I'd like to make on the layout which are described below.

1. ADD MORE LETTERS BEFORE README BUTTON
Currently, after the blog title, we are only allowed about 140 characters before the READ ME button. I'd like to incease this to 300 characters if possible.

2. INCREASE SIZE OF IMAGE ON LEFT
There is an image on the left of each blog post shown on the home page. It is currently a square shape. I'd like to change this to a rectangle shape by having the image height being increased by 20%.

3. FIX SUBSCRIBER FOLLOW EMAIL
As mentioned previously, the FOLLOW by email feature (located top right column) is currently unuseable. The previous Freelancer appears to be unable to fix the situation. Mailchimp shows user emails are added correctly to the database, and also shows it sends out email notifications when new blogs are added. However, everyone's email notifications are going into their spam folder. Maybe this has to do with the subject heading, but we aren't sure.

I'd like to get this fixed so subscribers will be notified of new blog posts with emails from us that go into the subscribers INBOX and not their SPAM folder. If you would rather not use MailChimp I can provide FTP access to our server and database creation.

Below is a screen shot of my top blog post which shows the picture on the left that needs to be modified and the text before the READ ME that needs to be increased to 300 characters.

The URL for the blog is https://thecovidexperiment.org

Please only bid if you can do these 3 jobs correctly. I'm wore out from the previous experience.
Thanks!
