We are experiencing an issue with our Elasticsearch search system after a server upgrade. The upgrade required us to update the version of Elasticsearch, and while most functionality is intact, there are specific problems with category browsing and search filtering. We are looking for an experienced developer familiar with Elasticsearch and PHP to diagnose and resolve these issues.
Currently, clicking on a category shows "no results," even though the correct data is present in Elasticsearch. Additionally, the search results page does not allow filtering by parameters such as "new/used" state, location, or other options. This suggests there may be a problem with the mapping for these fields on the search pages.
Searches on the site return correct results, and imports into Elasticsearch are functioning as expected.
The deliverables for this project are to diagnose and fix the category browsing issue so that results display correctly, and to resolve the filtering issue on the search results page to ensure filters like "new/used" and location function properly. Testing and confirmation that all search-related functionality is fully operational will also be required.
