We are a band looking for a guest rapper on one of our songs.
Loud. Hilarious. Unapologetic. Frenetic, Fierce, Fun and Femme. Glitoris is more than just a band. Blending genre-defying art rock musicianship with tongue-in-cheek humour and call-to-arms empowerment, Glitoris reflects the politics of women forcefully gatecrashing spaces they were never supposed to be in. Formed and based in Canberra, ACT, Glitoris is Keven 007 - vocals and guitar, Andrew - lead guitar and vocals, Malcolm-bass and vocals, and Mickey-drums and vocals. Highly energetic, deeply political, satirical and sometimes absurd, Glitoris melds punk provocation, metal prowess, classic rock riffs, pop harmonies and a dash of theatre together with badass attitude and indelible songwriting, resulting in a unique, powerful and unrelenting musical force. Dedicated to social justice, Glitoris began as a protest about the missing women in the music industry and its obsession with youth and body image. Glitoris has since consistently used its platform to bring attention to issues and grassroots organisations in the LGBTQI+, Indigenous and environmental spheres.
Glitoris have almost finished recording their sophmore album working with Producer Anna Laverty and just need the guest rapper to finalise the mixing and then mastering.
We love to get this sorted out in the next few weeks, by end November at the absolute latest.
