FBR Invoicing Middleware Development

We are Cipher Engineers Pvt Ltd, using UltimatePOS (Laravel-based) for sales and inventory. We are seeking a skilled developer to build a Laravel-based middleware that integrates with Pakistan’s FBR (Federal Board of Revenue) Digital Invoicing system.

This solution must:

Extract invoice data from UltimatePOS

Format and send the data to FBR in JSON

Receive and store FBR’s IRN and QR code

Package the solution into a Windows MSI installer for local deployment

Key Requirements:
Platform: Windows

Functionality:

Fetch invoice data from UltimatePOS (MySQL)

Authenticate and integrate with FBR API

Generate JSON invoices as per FBR documentation

Post invoice to FBR and save response (IRN, QR code)

Optional: print invoice with QR code

Compliance: Must fully comply with FBR’s Digital Invoicing API

Framework: Laravel 10+

Installer: Deliver an MSI (x64) installer for deployment

Ideal Candidate Must Have:
Hands-on experience with Laravel middleware and REST APIs

Familiarity with FBR’s e-invoicing requirements

Experience building MSI installers (WiX, Advanced Installer, or Visual Studio Installer Projects)

Understanding of UltimatePOS structure is a big plus

Can deliver within 7–10 days

Deliverables:
Laravel-based middleware application (with .env config for keys)

MSI Installer (for Windows systems)

Source code (if agreed)

Installation and user documentation

Assistance with sandbox testing and production switch
