Expert database designer needed to create optimised database design-Mysql
Budget: $100 – $300 AUD
We are trying to make an LMS system using Laravel and Mysql. We have created working design (HTML) mock-up pages for all sections.
Before connecting the front end with the backend (in Laravel), I want a database expert to create a complete database and tables based on the forms, listings or mock-ups.
You will have to identify and create required tables and related pivot tables based on provided design. (Not only a table for the visible table but sub-tables that may be needed to make the design work)
This is NOT a data entry kind of job; we are getting bored and want someone to do it (otherwise, the coder would have done it themselves). We want some with very expert level database skills to create very optimised
Task is:
Create required tables, all fields with correct data types
Create the necessary relationship among tables
High level of database skills required as:
• The tables should be highly normalised (maximum level of normalisation, at least 3rd Normal form).
• Proper integrity rules: foreign keys, indexes. Proper update and delete relations.
• The database design has to be optimized, reducing any redundancies—correct data types.
• Avoid creating unnecessary tables but be skilled enough to use pivot tables where needed
• Proper and optimised relations such as one-to-many, many to one and many to many
• It should follow good database principles.
• Easy to scale and expand the structure
The aim is to have an optimised database design that has only required tables, not make wrong columns, wrong relations, and dirty design (for example, having more columns or comma-separated values (csv) in a row rather than one-to-many relationships).
The design should be done in such a way that the query is much easier (optimised for efficient querying).
Deliverables:
Actual MySQL database (SQL file)
And database diagram (Like ER diagram)
You do not need to code anything. You just need to make the required database for pages available in the dashboard.
An example of some pages has been provided, and there are more than 50-60 such pages.
This is a short job, and I will only contact selected freelancers. However, you may have to provide me with a demonstration of 2-3 tables (how would you create tables/relation for it) before I award the whole task (otherwise, if the design is not good, the whole project will be wasted).
Basically, the idea is programmer will use this database while making pages functional.
