Scope of Work (SOW): WordPress Custom Theme & Plugin Development
Project Overview
We are seeking a skilled WordPress developer to work collaboratively with our in-house engineering team to enhance and extend the functionality of a custom WordPress theme and plugin setup. The work will involve dashboard development, content integration via APIs, and WooCommerce product listing enhancements.
Objectives
Customize and extend core functionality of our WordPress theme and plugins.
Follow WordPress coding standards and ensure the codebase is clean and scalable.
Provide technical support and iterative development throughout the project duration.
Deliverables
1. Dashboard Panel for Admins & Users
Develop a role-based dashboard system for organization admins and their users.
Create a front-end dashboard for logged-in users displaying:
Purchased courses
Paid articles
Registered events
Enable users to manage their profile (e.g., name and photo editing).
Integrate progress tracking via a third-party API.
Display completion badges or certificates fetched from a third-party platform.
2. Courses & Paid Articles Listing (WooCommerce Integration)
Implement a WooCommerce-based product listing for Courses and Paid Articles.
Key features:
Filterable and sortable listing by category, tags, and metadata (e.g., sector, date).
Conditional access control based on subscription type.
Redirect to external platforms when required (for example, to view full content).
Ensure seamless UI/UX with mobile responsiveness.
3. UI Enhancements & Testing
Enhance the look and feel of both the user and admin dashboards.
Perform testing for responsiveness, performance, and third-party API integrations.
Required Skills
Expertise in PHP and WordPress theme/plugin development.
Experience with WooCommerce customization.
Strong frontend skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
Hands-on experience with REST API integrations and custom API consumption.
Knowledge of MySQL and optimized query writing.
Familiarity with version control (Bitbucket preferred).
Timeline

Duration: Ongoing (milestone-based progress tracking and delivery)
