Equipment Exchage Database

We would like to create a database where our registered members can introduce a list of assets that they have available for rent. They will be able to detail few technical specs, model, and other basic things. Our intention is that once those assets are listed (should be editable), all registered members can check what is available by using some search or filtering tools. In case that they identify something interesting, they can directly send an email to the owner to ask for more details.
