Enhancing Shopping Agent Wordpress Website
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Functional Website Setup for a Shopping Agent in Japan (using now WordPress)
Hello,
I’m looking for someone to help me make my current website functional. I run a small business as a personal shopping agent in Japan, helping customers buy products from Japanese online and physical stores.
I already have a website built with WordPress + Elementor and a custom domain, but right now it’s only informational and static. I’d like to start turning it into a working platform where my clients can submit orders, view order status, and interact with their own dashboard.
At this moment, I have a limited budget for now, so I’m only looking to implement the most essential functions, but with a clear structure that allows me to scale in the future. (Invest on website again with more budget by end of this year maybe)
What I need:
1. User account system
• Customers should be able to create an account and log in.
• They should have a personal dashboard to view their orders, payment status, shipping status, and their account info.
• Each customer should have a unique client code (e.g. 00123) that is always visible on their dashboard, for support reference.
2. Order request form
• Users should be able to enter one or more product links (from different shopping websites for example .).
• For each link, they can enter the quantity and a comment or product note.
• There should be an “Add another item” button to keep submitting multiple products in one form.
• When submitted, I should get a notification (by email or in the admin panel).
3. Manual quote upload
• I will manually upload the total quote amount (in JPY or USD) for each order.
• No price breakdown is needed on screen — I will provide a PayPal invoice link with full details included.
• The client should see the total in their dashboard and a “Pay Now” button linked to that invoice.
4. Notifications system
• Clients should receive email notifications when:
• A quote is uploaded
• Their item has arrived at my office
• The order status has changed
• I should also get a notification when a client submits a new order request.
5. Order tracking & consolidation
• When the item arrives at my office, I need to mark it as received from the admin side.
• The client is automatically notified and should be able to choose:
• “Ship now”
• or “Store and consolidate with other items”
• When they finish shopping, the client can request shipment of their stored items.
• I will then upload the shipping cost and a new payment link.
6. Estimated cost calculator (already exists)
• I already have a simple calculator for customers to estimate the cost of their product + shipping.
• Please make it visible on the homepage or in a prominent location so users can use it before submitting their order request.
