We are looking to make several improvements to our website, dr-stays.com. The website is already functional, but we need to enhance its user experience and functionality. Below are the specific tasks we'd like to accomplish:
Font Icons for Amenities: Integrate the ability to add font icons next to each amenity listed on the site. This will help users quickly identify and understand the amenities offered.
Amenities Display: Currently, all amenities are displayed at once. We'd like to modify this so that only the first 5 lines of amenities are visible. A button labeled "Show other amenities" should be added, which when clicked, will expand to show the remaining amenities.
Property Details Update: Increase the options for specifying the number of bedrooms, bathrooms, and beds. This will provide more accurate information to potential guests.
Minimum Nights Implementation: Introduce a feature that allows hosts to specify a minimum number of nights for reservations. This rule should be applied when a client attempts to make a reservation. Both the host and admin ends should have the capability to set and modify this rule.
Description Display: At present, only 1 line of the property description is visible. We'd like to expand this to display 5-6 lines. A "More" button should be added at the end of the visible lines, which when clicked, will show the full description.
Image Gallery Enhancement: When a user clicks on an image in the image gallery, the image should pop up in a larger view, allowing users to see details more clearly.
Listing Layout Redesign: Change the current listing layout to make it more user-friendly and visually appealing. The new design should prioritize easy viewing and navigation.
Sticky Reservation Box: The reservation box should have a sticky feature, allowing it to move with the user as they scroll down the page. However, it should not scroll beyond the location of the map on the page, ensuring both elements remain visible without overlap.
Reservation Price Details: The detailed breakdown of the reservation price should be hidden by default. A button labeled "Show Price Details" should be added, which when clicked, will reveal the full price breakdown for the reservation.
Persistent Custom Changes: Any modifications made should be implemented in a way that they remain intact and functional even when the core script or platform of the website is updated.
