Enhance a Laravel Script (invoice management) to fix issues and add features
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am seeking the expertise of a proficient Full-stack PHP developer for a Laravel script we've to manage invoices to fix some issues and add some more features. My requirements include:
#Fixes:
- Fixing an issue that arises after creating an invoice.
- Resolving a problem that prevents Arabic letters from displaying correctly on invoices. All Arabic letters currently lack accurate representation.
- Fix the functionality to add a logo on the invoices. Feature already exist to upload a logo to be visible in invoices, but when I add a logo it won't show in invoices
#New Features:
- In invoie view, we need to have option to print the invoice, we need 2 types of printing: normal A4 invoice, and the small invoice (like the ones printed by handheld or small printers in supermarkets).
- In dashboard too we'll need a couple of filters to be used to filter dashboard statistics accordingly, these filters are:
1. Period selection like we do in reports, we need different periods like today, yesterday, this week, this month, last week, last month, this year ...etc, or by selecting a custom period from X date to X date.
2. Products: a multiselect dropdown to select either All Products (default selection), or select one or more products.
3. Employees: same, a multiselect dropdown to select either All Employees from a specific role we already added in database with role id #3, the selections should be either All Employees (default selection), or select one or more employee, the filtering here should be done based on the employee who created the invoice for all of his invoices
*The charts of Payment Overview and Income Overview in dashboard should be automatically changes based on the selections of newly added filters, not just a yearly one.
- In dashboard reports, we need to be able to click on a specific report to see ALL invoices in that report in a list view, just basic info of invoice is enough, like: invoice number, employee name, total ...etc

For this task, you need to have considerable experience in PHP development with a knack for problem-solving. A background in invoicing systems or web apps handling similar functionalities will be a plus. Attention to detail, particularly in language representation, is critical in this project. I'll give you access to the project repo and DB backup so you can work on your local machine and after all is ready I'll deploy to the server and check, if there's issues you'll fix till the system is ready and issues are fixed and new features are ready.
