Engaging eLearning Platform Development

We are looking for an experienced freelance web developer to build a dynamic and interactive online learning platform.
The application will include special functions that can interact with a SQL database to extract questions, solutions and other data.
### Key Features to Implement
The following will be main functions that the application will need:
- The ability to display a maths multiple quiz to students. Students will then complete the quiz and submit to be automatically marked by the application. Then, the solutions will be displayed to the student for them to read
- A backend admin account that is able to add and edit math questions in these quizzes. This will include images and latex code (rich text editor). The admin account will also be able to edit users
- The ability to display PDF documents for a user to read
- A custom exam generator. The student will select the topics they wish to be assessed, the difficulty, and the length of the exam. The system will then randomly select questions from the database that fit these parameters to then display to the student
- The ability to store and record user responses to questions. This allows us to generate statistics of what percentage of students got each question correct. Helpful for feedback.
***Requirements
Extensive experience in web development, especially with HTML, CSS, SQL, JavaScript and frameworks such as React or Angular. Wordpress knowledge is also preferred but is not a requirement. If you are knowledgeable in other languages or frameworks that you believe will be able to help, feel free to apply as well.
The skill to write clean, maintainable and efficient code.
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
We are looking for a long term developer that will be able to continue assisting and improving the website. Due to the potential longevity of this project, a team or company may be preferred over individuals, though this is not 100% the case.

The successful freelancer will be able to begin work shortly after our selection process is completed. More detail will be provided during the selection process to determine if the freelancer will be a good fit. Once this is done, the freelancer will provide an overall project quote along with the appropriate milestones.
