Project Description:
We are in search of a highly skilled freelance developer to build a system that performs a two-step transfer of product listings. The system must first pull all relevant product data from an eBay store into our proprietary system. Then, it should enable transferring these listings to an Amazon seller account, ensuring an error-free process at both stages.
Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering: Understand and document the specific data fields required from eBay and Amazon, and how they will interact with our existing system.
API Integration:
Integrate with eBay's API to fetch product details into our proprietary system.
Utilize Amazon's API to populate product listings in an Amazon seller account from our system.
Data Transformation and Mapping: Convert or re-format data from eBay to fit into our proprietary system, and then transform it again to meet Amazon's product listing requirements.
Intermediary System Interaction: Build features within our proprietary system to temporarily store, view, and manage the eBay listings before transferring them to Amazon.
Error Handling: Implement robust error-handling mechanisms at both stages of the transfer process.
User Interface: Develop a user-friendly interface where users can initiate both stages of the transfer process, from eBay to our system and from our system to Amazon.
Testing: Conduct thorough tests to ensure the accurate and error-free transfer of data at both stages.
Documentation: Produce detailed documentation outlining the system functionalities, user guidelines, and code comments.
Qualifications:
Expertise in API integration, particularly with eBay and Amazon.
Strong programming skills in a suitable language (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js).
Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data transformation.
Excellent debugging and troubleshooting capabilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
