Drupal Developer: Site Building, Module Configuration, Theming (Bootstrap 5)

Job ID: 38692059

Budget: $8 – $15 USD

We are looking for an experienced Drupal Developer to assist in the ongoing development of a high-performance website using Drupal 10 and Bootstrap 5 for the theme layer. This project involves migrating from a Django-based website, focusing on site building, module configuration, and theming. You will work within an Agile environment, with tasks assigned via Jira tickets, and be responsible for implementing features, configuring modules, and developing custom themes as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Configure contributed modules based on project requirements, and integrate custom modules as necessary.
- Implement responsive, Bootstrap 5-based custom themes, ensuring design consistency across devices.
- Develop light custom modules to support project functionality.
- Conduct QA on your deliverables to ensure they meet the project's specifications and requirements.
- Work will be assigned via Jira, so familiarity with Jira for task tracking and management is preferred.

Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently while following project guidelines.
- Proven experience with Drupal 10 site building, theming, and module configuration
- Proficiency with Bootstrap 5 in a Drupal environment, including custom theming and layout work
- Strong knowledge of Drupal’s entity and field system, views, block management, and key contributed modules (e.g., Layout Paragraphs, CKEditor Media Embed/Resize, Feeds, Entity Reference Revisions)
- Experience with Pantheon, Terminus, and Drush for managing site environments and deployments
- Experience with Composer for dependency management in Drupal projects
- Familiarity with integrating external APIs
- Knowledge of frontend technologies like SCSS and JavaScript frameworks
- Familiarity with Jira for task management and tracking
- Availability for daily standups

Communication:
- We hold a daily 15-minute standup to discuss work progress and any blockers. Attendance during these standups is required and billable
- We prefer written communication with our standup being the exception. This allows for asynchronous communication and makes it easier to share knowledge across time zones and work schedules.
- The primary platform for tracking and managing tasks is Jira. All work progress, assignments, and updates will be communicated through Jira.
- For conversations related to availability, meetings, and quick discussions, we use Microsoft Teams.

Timeline:
- You'll work 30 hours per week or more for 6-12 weeks, starting as early as October 21. If you're interested in committing to more than 40 hours per week, you are welcome to do so, which could help us reach project milestones sooner.

Location:
- US, CA, UK, EU, IN, TW
