The goal is to build a premium, fun, and intuitive e-commerce website that allows customers to create custom dog treat labels using their dog’s photo, shop themed pet party supplies, and purchase bundled party kits.
The experience must be visual, easy to understand, and optimized for gifting and celebrations.
Core Customer Experience (High Priority)
The website must support the following end-to-end flow:
Customer uploads their dog’s photo
Customer previews a mock-up of the label
Customer selects themed borders/banners
Customer selects treat varieties
Customer adds required quantities to cart customer checks out
Custom Label Builder (Critical Feature)
Photo Upload & Mock-Up
Customers can upload their dog’s photo directly on the product page
Determine Accepted formats: JPG and PNG etc
Clear photo guidelines must be displayed (one dog per photo, good lighting, face-forward recommended)
Uploaded image must generate a visual mock-up preview of the label
Customers must be able to confirm the mock-up before adding to cart
Border / Banner Selection
Customers can select one or more themed borders for their dog’s picture:
Wedding
Birthday
Thanksgiving
Christmas
New Year’s
Easter
Halloween
Requirements:
Borders must be visually previewed on the mock-up
Customers can switch between themes before finalizing
Selected theme(s) must be saved with the order
Treat Selection for Custom Labels
Customers must choose from the following treat varieties for their custom-labeled bags:
Liver
Lung
Tripe
Trachea
Requirements:
Treat selection is mandatory for custom orders
Minimum order quantity: 12 custom treat bags
Quantity rules must be enforced in WooCommerce
Treat variety selection must be visible in the order details for fulfillment
Additional Products (Non-Custom)
The website will also sell standard pet party supplies, including:
Tablecloths
Party hats
Bandanas
Balloons
Tennis balls
Bulk treats (1 kg bags)
These products do not require photo uploads.
