Scope
Display pre-defined, custom, and real-time updatable text on LED Matrix
Display:
The text being displayed will be triggered based on 3 options
1) DMX
- Using Arduino DMX shield; read and evaluate received DMX channel and channel value
2) Manual selection - using input buttons on an LCD display
- standalone manual trigger, from LCD button input
3) External trigger
- retrieve external trigger value from an external site using PHP, MySQL (or equivalent products & technologies)
{Note: if determined that using the ESP8266 is feasible, then external will be from ESP8266 and not externally based website}
Text: Updated, Store, and Retrieved from sources
internal:
- Text will be hardcoded in the executable
external;
- retrieve {update, and store} external text value from external site using PHP, MySQL (or equivalent products & technologies)
{Note: if determined that using the ESP8266 is feasible, then external will be from ESP8266 and not externally based website}
