Developer needed to complete cake and php upgrade

Goal: Complete Upgrade of web site: PlainsLedgerArt.org

Significant development of new site halted due to developer's health issues during COVID.

This was the original project scope:

Specifics:

1. Upgrade site from CakePHP version 1.3.11 to current Cakephp version.
Set up backup regime and regime for staging site.
Maintain full code commenting and version control.
Switch from Flash to HTML5 for image display and the Zoomer function.
Watermarking solution for images, preferably on the fly.
Fix batch upload function.
Fix image order problem when plates are added out of order.
Fix Provenance field displaying blank when “more” is clicked and the entry is long.

2. Upgrade site from PHP 5.3 version to current PHP version and deploy new site.

3. Weekly and milestone project review. Time for client to test completed sections and review fixes.

4. Possible new features (add-ons):
System for image permissions.
Contemporary artist variant for ledger books.

Future:
Maintenance path and continued upgrades possibility.
