Debug SugarCRM Enterprise Installation
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have installed the paid version of SugarCRM enterprise but I’m getting a persistent “Loading” message screen upon visiting the site.
This “Loading” message that never ends may have something to do with either of the file permissions within Linux and Apache or an issue with mod rewrite as far as I can tell from the research that I’ve done so far on the issue.
Support has been less than forthcoming and quite slow from the company even though we purchased five instances of said support.
I’m a systems administrator myself but I’m busy running a lot of other aspects of our firm so I’m looking for someone with the skills of both a system administrator as well as familiar with king web applications specific to Apache and it’s mod_rewrite right module under CentOS Linux running on Cpanel WHM.
Please consider that we do not wish to change environments to new servers or operating systems nor are we looking for any hack job or “workarounds” that will backfire later. We are also not looking for trial and error style of problem-solving Cuz we could just do that ourselves and follow the trail all over the place and never really get anywhere regardless of how many “helpful tips“ might be found across google, many of which we have already researched and found none to have an authoritative direct specific exact solution. The SugarCRM documents are not thorough enough to begin with. And there are even conflicting documents citing different file permissions. Probably because of the number of versions. We are running SugarCRM enterprise 11.02.
We’re looking for legitimate and sound systems administration fixes which in this case very likely amount to setting a variety of the correct file permissions throughout the sugarCrm file structure. And possibly some configurations to Apache or MOD rewrite.
