DHL API implementation with PHP

We need a PHP-based implementation of the DHL API (https://developer.dhl.com/) that lets us create shipping labels from given address data and lets us track shipments by shipment id - both within Germany and Europe.

What we have:
- Database that provides the address data (shipment size and weight are added manually via a HTML form)
- DHL business account (German business website https://geschaeftskunden.dhl.de/)
- DHL developer account (https://developer.dhl.com/)

What we need:
- Transfer of shipping data to the DHL API via a PHP script (with extensive comments!)
- Catch returned shipping details and store them in our MySQL database
- Catch returned label as PDF and save it to our server
- Get shipment status by shipment id

- DHL Parcel Germany
- DHL Parcel Europe
- DHL Express
