Customization of a Magento2 Extension

We have a Magento2 website that uses many customized extensions. We have an existing Auction Extension that was made by LandOfCoder and the link to that extension is in the attached file. We need to add a new function added to this extension that will allow Logged in Users to place 'Absentee Bids'.
